Pearce would like to recognize Emily Bungard as our September Employee of the Month!
Pearce Community Center is proud to recognize Emily Bungard as our Employee of the Month! Emily has been part of the Pearce team for four years and currently serves as a Before and After School Counselor.
Emily first connected with Pearce as a summer camper herself and later joined our team when she heard about the job opportunity in her child development class in high school. Her passion for working with kids has grown ever since.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her friends and family, staying active, baking, and working on crafts. A fun fact about her is that she is a certified phlebotomist and is currently in her first semester of nursing school!
When asked about her favorite quote, Emily laughed and shared that the kids would probably say it’s:
“Bubbles in mouth and ducks in a row.”
Emily’s favorite part of working at Pearce is getting to know all the kids’ unique personalities. She hopes to make a positive difference in every child’s day.
If you had to describe Emily in three words, they would be: warm-hearted, kind, and hard-working. And while she loves good books, her favorite movie is Marcel the Shell with Shoes On.
We are so grateful for Emily’s dedication, energy, and caring spirits, she truly makes Pearce a brighter place!
