In this exercise class, you will have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion, and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Line Dancing

Dance steps, music, and exercise with terrific instructors. This class is a winner and a great way to meet people and make friends.

Senior Nutrition Program

Central Illinois Agency on Ageing (CIAA) will now be serving meals in Pearce Community Center’s Community Room on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This service is called “CIAA Food and Fellowship”. Apostolic Christian Skylines will be preparing the food. Meals will be ordered on the Monday, Wednesday, or Friday before delivery. (EX: Friday meals will be called in on Wednesday; Monday meals will be called in on Friday, etc) A signup sheet will be in the kitchen area from 9am-11am on Mon/Wed/Fri. Individuals can come in to the banquet room to sign up.

The full menu is available at the front desk. Recommended donation for the congregate meal at the center is $3.00.

Prior to the meal community activities are scheduled. Join our volunteer led group exercise class on Monday and Wednesday from 10-11am and for bingo on Friday 10-11am.

On the fourth Tuesday of each month at noon, seniors meet to have a potluck meal and enjoy an entertaining program. Bring your own table service and a dish to share. Fried chicken and drinks provided. FREE and everyone is invited.

The December potluck will be held on the second Tuesday of the month.


Join other seniors in the Senior Room on the first floor to play pinochle, euchre, bridge, hand-in-foot or whatever! Bring a snack to pass and a friend!

SilverSneakers® Yoga

This exercise class includes a variety of stretching exercises in both seated and standing position to target specific muscle groups and joints within the body to increase muscle tone and build strength.
