Pearce would like to recognize Trent Gill as our October Member of the Month!

Pearce Community Center is proud to recognize Trent Gill as our Member of the Month!

Trent, 45, has been a dedicated member of Pearce on and off for the past 18 years.

After moving from Peoria to Chillicothe, Trent, who has been a lifelong lifter was searching for a gym that was close to home, affordable, and offered family-friendly programs. He found exactly that at Pearce. Over the years, Trent has enjoyed using the weight room, enrolling his children in swimming lessons, and watching his son play in our soccer league.

When asked what he enjoys most about Pearce, Trent shared that it’s the sense of community and the friendships he has made here. He also values the impact that working out has had on his overall well-being, stating: “I find working out is equally as beneficial to my mental health as it is to my physical health.”

Outside of Pearce, Trent enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and hiking trails. A true Chicago Bears fan, he admits to cheering them on, “hopefully after a win, but usually after a loss.”

Trent’s favorite quote is: “Just because things could have been different, it does not mean they’d be better.” His advice to fellow members is simple but powerful: “The first step is the hardest part, but don’t hesitate to take that step. Once you get going, don’t stop. Consistency is key.”

We are grateful to have Trent as part of the Pearce family. Congratulations on being Member of the Month!
