Pearce would like to recognize Claire McMahan as our October Employee of the Month!
Meet Claire McMahan, one of our dedicated Lifeguards and Swim Instructors here at Pearce Community Center! Claire has been part of the Pearce team for 5 months, but her passion for lifeguarding started back in Texas, where she spent her summers working by the pool. Wanting to continue that passion year-round, she decided to apply at Pearce.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys working out, shopping with friends, and listening to music. She also stays busy with her 2-year-old golden retriever, Bert! An inspiring thought she lives by is “everything happens for a reason.”
Claire’s favorite part of working at Pearce is the connections she has made with her co-workers, and she hopes to bring happiness to both members and staff through her positive attitude and bright smile. Three words that best describe her are empathetic, energetic, and kind.
Something you may not know about Claire is that she has five siblings and is currently taking classes at ICC to become a CNA, with hopes of starting a career in the medical field. And when it comes to choosing between books or movies, movies win for Claire, with her favorite being Finding Nemo!
