Pearce would like to recognize Albert Allen as our November Member of the Month!
Albert Allen, 81, has been a cherished member of Pearce Community Center since 2006. A proud veteran, Albert enlisted in the military at just 17 and served over six years before retiring from Caterpillar.
When asked what led him to Pearce, Albert shared, “Everything about it,” reflecting his long-standing appreciation for the center. What does he enjoys most about being a member? The people. Over the years, Albert has participated in a variety of programs, including swimming in the pool, working out in the weight room, and taking regular walks, staying active in ways that support both his physical and mental well-being.
Outside of Pearce, Albert enjoys gardening, tending to his flowers and vegetable gardens with the same dedication he brings to his fitness routine. His favorite quote, “Keep on Trying,” perfectly captures his approach to life. When asked what advice he has for fellow members, Albert encourages, “If you keep up with your exercise, it helps your health.”
Albert’s commitment, positivity, and friendly nature make him a standout member, and Pearce is proud to honor him as Member of the Month.
