Pearce would like to recognize the Dawn Butts as our November Member of the Month!
Dawn has been a member of Pearce for almost a year!!! Dawn joined Pearce a year ago so she could take the Aqua Fit class for arthritis. After joining, she fell in love with Pearce and all that it has to offer.
Dawn enjoys being a member of Pearce because of “the flexibility of being able to take a class or workout on my own.” Dawn points out that the staff, instructors and trainers are ‘fantastic.’ They are all so kind and knowledgeable. Dawn appreciates what Pearce has given her in regard to fitness and friendship, stating, “I have made real friends here”!
Dawn enjoys many of the classes at Pearce, but some of her favorites are Aqua Fit, Yoga, Women On Weights, a 6-week specialty class and the new Pearce Stronger program that launched in Fall 2022.
In her spare time, Dawn loves to garden, hang out with the grandkids, play with puppy, go out for dinner with friends and spend time with her family.
Her favorite inspirational sayings are:

“Your body CAN do it, it’s time to convince your mind”
Dawn’s advice to other Pearce members is, “there are so many options at Pearce, between group classes, special programs or working out on your own; find something you enjoy and build on that. Try something new – even if it’s a little out of your comfort zone, you never know what you might get out of it”.
