June Employee of the Month
Pearce would like to recognize Nicolas Joyce as our June Employee of the Month!
We’re excited to recognize Nicholas Joyce as our Employee of the Month! Nic has been a Building Attendant at Pearce Community Center for the past six months, bringing with him years of experience as a janitor and a strong desire to give back. His motivation to join Pearce came from a deep appreciation for all that Pearce does for the community, and he wanted to be part of that impact.
Nic’s favorite part of working at Pearce? “Every day brings something new, a new face, a new task, and a new challenge to overcome.” His humor, calm presence, and reliability have made him an asset to the team. When asked to describe himself in three words, Nic chose funny, composed, and dependable.
Outside of work, Nic enjoys playing video games, gardening, listening to his vinyl records, and diving into the world of Dungeons & Dragons. He’s also got a fun hidden talent; he can tie balloon dogs! He shares his home with Gaius Maximus, Lord of the Yard, or just “Gaius,” his three-year-old pet and loyal companion.
Nic’s favorite quote is, “The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.”
Oh, and if you’re wondering who Nic finds most amusing at Pearce, it’s member Mary Thomas, a stroke survivor, pickleball enthusiast, and his best friend’s grandma!
