Congratulations to our July Employee of the Month, Tarin Fleming, our Membership Manager!
Tarin has been part of the Pearce team for a year and a half. Before joining Pearce, she spent nearly 10 years as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at Illinois Eye Center. She was excited to join Pearce because it gave her the opportunity to work in the community where she grew up and is now raising her daughter, while making a positive impact close to home.
One of Tarin’s favorite things about working at Pearce is that no two days are ever the same. She enjoys the variety her role brings and the opportunity to interact with members and coworkers each day. She also says the Summer Camp kids are some of the most entertaining people at Pearce—you never know what they’re going to say next, and they always keep her laughing!
Outside of work, Tarin enjoys staying active with her husband and daughter, spending time on the river, attending outdoor concerts, and traveling. She’s also a proud dog mom to Daisy (11) and Beau (3). When she’s relaxing, you’ll usually find her with a good book. Over the past year, a monthly book-and-brunch tradition with her best friend has helped her rediscover her love of reading.
In her role, Tarin hopes to bring positivity, support, and a willingness to help wherever it’s needed. She wants every member and coworker to feel valued and strives to make Pearce a welcoming place that continues to have a positive impact on our community.
One quote that inspires Tarin is from Ruth Bader Ginsburg: “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn’t be that women are the exception.”
