Pearce would like to recognize Autumn Henderson as our January Employee of the Month!
Autumn joined our team last year as one of our Personal Trainers and Specialty Fitness Instructors.
It was Autumn’s passion for own personal fitness and helping people feel like the best version of themselves that led her to getting certified as a Personal Trainer in 2024.
In her free time, Autumn likes to watch documentaries, play chess, watch fitness videos and continue to learn more about fitness. She also enjoys spending time with her fur babies: Pandora (dog), Queenie, Rook, and Bishop (cat).
Autumn’s favorite part about working at Pearce is getting to help and meet new people. She loves seeing the smile on a client’s face after they achieve their goals. She also enjoys the lovely staff she works with.
When asked about her favorite/most amusing members at Pearce – Autumn said Byron Joos because he has funny jokes and he makes training together a genuine good time. He is also a hardworking and dedicated member, participating in both areas of fitness, personal training and group exercise classes.
Three words that could be used to describe Autumn are reserved, helpful, and passionate.
Autumn’s two favorite sayings are “Consistency over perfection!” and “If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.”
In her current role as a Personal Trainer, Autumn hopes to exude a welcoming and non-judgmental presence, there is no time for negative energy, especially in the gym. She hopes people feel more at ease and comfortable after being around her.
Something you may not know about Autumn is that she used to play chess professionally. Stop by the Fitness Desk sometime to challenge her to a match.
When asked, do you prefer books or movies, Autumn says she prefers movies!! She loves to watch good horror movie. She also says Christmas movies are the best with her favorite Christmas movie being Happiest Season.
