Pearce would like to recognize Jill Lantz as our February Member of the Month!
Jill has been a member of Pearce since 2019! She chose to join Pearce because she wanted to better her physical and mental health.
What Jill enjoys at Pearce is meeting new people, the friendly staff, and the hours that the Center is open which is convenient for her schedule.
Jill enjoys walking the track each day and says, “Being diabetic, I need to keep my blood sugar numbers in check, walking 2 – 4 miles every day has helped me do that”. Jill also noted that walking each day helps with her mental health just as much as her physical health.
Fun fact: Jill is a regular participant in our Annual Run For The Health Of It in the Summer.
In her free time, Jill enjoys spending time with her four grandkids, shopping trips with her sisters, and bonding with my teenage daughter over BTS.
When asked what advice she would pass on to other members Jill states, “It’s not always about the number on the scale, it’s’ about how it makes you feel!”
An inspirational quote Jill lives by is, “shine, dream, smile”.
