Meet our Employee of the Month, Alisha Morrow!
Alisha has been a valued member of the Pearce team for 3 years and 5 months as our Leagues Coordinator. Her passion for youth sports and recreation is evident in everything she does.
Before joining Pearce, Alisha earned her bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Administration and completed her graduate assistantship as the Youth Sports Coordinator with Bloomington Parks and Recreation. Over the years, she has built an impressive background working as an athletic director, coach, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. When the opportunity to become Pearce’s part-time Leagues Coordinator became available, it was the perfect fit alongside her career as a Physical Education teacher.
One of Alisha’s favorite parts of working at Pearce is organizing our youth sports programs. She finds it incredibly rewarding to watch young athletes learn the fundamentals of soccer, basketball, and volleyball while developing a lifelong love for the game. She also appreciates the strong leadership team at Pearce, noting that everyone is dedicated to their role and always willing to lend a helping hand.
When she’s not at Pearce or teaching, Alisha enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their two American Bullies, Zola and Kano. As a family, they love staying active together, whether they’re in the weight room, on the basketball court, or out walking their dogs.
Alisha describes herself as hard-working, organized, and self-driven. Her favorite quote is, “Respect is for those who deserve it, not those who demand it.”
Thank you, Alisha, for your dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to making Pearce’s youth sports programs a positive experience for so many families. Congratulations on being our Employee of the Month!
