Pearce would like to recognize Tasha Hattan as our August Employee of the Month!
Please help us congratulate Tasha Hattan, Pearce Community Center’s Employee of the Month! Tasha has been part of the Pearce team for 1 year and 2 months, leading our Strength and Conditioning class and subbing TRX when needed.
A Pearce member since 2017, Tasha says, “The members are great. Teaching was something I always thought would be fun and I finally took the leap!” We’re so glad she did.
Outside of Pearce, Tasha works full-time as a receptionist at Peoria Dental Care. In her free time, she enjoys walking her two dogs Maggie (a Maltese mix) and Maci (a Yorkie mix), watching her son shoot trap for his school team, and vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Tasha’s favorite quote is: “Don’t count the days, make the days count.” – Muhammad Ali
She says the best part of working at Pearce is seeing familiar faces return for more classes and of course, the fun she has with regulars like Michelle, Jamie, and Beth in Strength and Conditioning. “Working out with them makes it so fun, and the time flies by!”
Described as prompt, an overthinker, and kind, Tasha hopes to bring “a fun and effective class that gives people a great workout and a positive place to be on a Monday after work!”
Something people might not know about Tasha: her 16-year-old son is a Type 1 Diabetic and navigating that journey with him over the past three years has been a full-time commitment.
When it comes to entertainment, she’s currently into books and especially enjoys thrillers by Freida McFadden.
Tasha’s energy, dedication, and uplifting attitude make her an invaluable part of the Pearce team. Congratulations, Tasha!
