Pearce would like to recognize The Rodriguez Family as our December Members of the Month!
Meet the Rodriguez family, Chano, Megan, and their children Lucy (8) and Leo (6). As kids, Chano and Megan both grew up as members of Pearce and knew they wanted their kids to be part of Pearce Community Center. Chano, a union drywall finisher & instructor, and Megan, a planning and scheduling supervisor, first joined Pearce as a family to give their family a place to connect and feel supported while the kids grow.
What started as a fitness-focused membership has turned into a family affair. From youth basketball and soccer to before & after school care and using the pool as a family, the Rodriguez Family has taken full advantage of the many programs and amenities Pearce has to offer. “Pearce helps our family stay connected – being able to use the track, the gym, and the pool together has been great!”
When they’re not at Pearce, the Rodriguez family is busy watching the kids participate in all their many activities. Staying active is important to them, and Pearce gives them a place to grow and learn new things.
Their advice to other Pearce families? “Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Just be yourself and get involved!”
